Camilleri family likes drinking Nero di Cicco wine when all the family is reunited.
Nero di Cicco is born from the gain to experiment and to realize a wine which can identify our winery and our traditions.
This wine is a blend, made up of the union of Nero d’Avola, Merlot and Perricone.
Grapes are selected and harvested by hand. Maceration takes place in cement tanks, like our tradition impose.
After maturation in steel tanks, Nero di Cicco wine is left to rest in oak barrels for six months.
Why we choose the name “Nero di Cicco”? Ciccobriglio is the name of the district in which our cellar is and “Cicco”, like we call it, it’s not only a district in Campobello di Licata territory, but for us it represents childhood memories, family and our origins. Nero di Cicco is the wine in which we have wanted to hold aromas and flavors of our past and our present.
